Witton Castle Rally, 1st - 3rd June 2001

The fun started late into the weekend for most of us at Witton Castle.  Phil, Julie, Pete and Linda
made their way up Saturday morning for the afternoon session.  Mossy was already there
doing his duty for the LCGB on the gate.

Graham, Mel and Martin had arranged to meet Craig and Nicola in Selby at 3:30pm, we finally got away at 3:45pm.  A bit of a head wind slowed us up a little but we pulled into thr camp site at about 6:00pm.
 

Tents straight up, changed, and we were off out.  Graham brought a supply of plastic bowler hats
with the george cross on, which he insisted we had to wear.  When putting up the tents Graham had
furnished us all with a can of lager so how could we object !!

So funny hats it was, left to right above, Mel, Linda, Nicola, Craig and Pete with his own
'cherished' hat.  Poor Pete, his hat was to become a major piece of the evenings entertainment.
Phil was up for game of musical hats !!

Ooh, the music stopped on Nicola, don't know where Louise and Linda's hats had gone,
must have slighly disposed of them, not wanting to ruin their hair do's !!

Escaped from Rampton ?  who knows ? Good job Craigs nose was clean !!

a nice photo I thought.  Life through a lense...

Top weekend, good venue, hope its on the calendar next year, thank you LCGB & VFM.
